English Classes, Cultural Competency Training, and More

English Classes, Cultural Competency Training, and More

You're a nomad, an expat (immigrant—we can discuss this later), a cultural explorer. You live between languages, countries, and mindsets. Maybe you're grappling with the nuances of a new culture, trying to maintain your fitness routine while constantly on the move, or simply want to speak English fluently without sounding like a textbook. You crave genuine connection, not just surface-level-get-me-the-hell-out-of-here small-talk.

At Born Without Borders, I help people like you—who thrive in the in-between—to find clarity, connection, and confidence in motion.

Why Work With Me?

I combine cultural psychology, practical language strategies, and adaptable fitness solutions to address the unique challenges of a truly global lifestyle. No corporate jargon, no sugarcoating the tough parts of moving abroad, and definitely no "one-size-fits-all" advice.

I translate cultures.

Not just words. Real human systems. I help people see across cultural lenses and connect meaningfully — as a teacher, as a consultant, and as a guy who would rather talk to you than continue this sales pitch.

My teaching style

We learn languages to communicate, and we communicate to connect, so why do so many people leave an academy unable to give presentations, send emails, and tell jokes?

Many teachers lack the cultural, psychological, and business expertise to prepare you beyond the exam world. While I use CEFR and Cambridge materials to gauge levels, my lessons adapt to your needs and how English evolves across cultures. I’ve helped nearly 100 students pass exams, but if your sole goal is a certificate, I’m not the teacher for you. I’m here to create connections and experiences.

Language learning isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some prefer rules first, while others learn naturally through conversation. A great teacher tailors methods to fit you. My approach draws from a degree in English and psychology (UBC), advanced TEFL certifications, and years of teaching students from 30+ countries.

Beyond teaching, my experience managing global marketing campaigns and researching cultural competence ensures your English works across cultural contexts. I don’t just teach language—I help you live it.
